Hughes Hughes Aircraft, Hughes Helicopters Md500

The Hughes Model 500 is a light, utility civilian and military helicopter. The Model 500 was later re-designated the MD 500 by MD Helicopters, when they subsequently took over productions. The Hughes 500 was developed as a civilian version of the Hughes OH-6 Cayuse, after it became evident that the military variant was not selling as anticipated. The Model 500 was made available with five or seven seat configurations, and possessed a spacious cabin. The rotorcraft was certified in 1966, and was utilising an Allison 250-C18B powerplant initially.

Priceless Aviation is pleased to offer a great range of ground power and support equipment for this aircraft, including tugs, ground power units, start power units, aviation tools, and more, which are perfectly suited to the requirements of the MD Helicopter MD 500 aircraft.
