Fokker F50

The Fokker 50 is a turboprop-powered airliner, manufactured by Fokker with productions commencing in 1985. The Fokker 50’s design was directly based on the predecessing Fokker F27 Friendship, due to sales for the later dropping significantly. The new Fokker 50 shared several aspects with the F27, including the airframe and limited design aspects, while also adopting new Pratt & Whitney Canada PW127B powerplants, a new wing and propeller design and other minor modifications.
