Red Box Success at UK General Aviation Shows 2010

The sun shone on both Aero Expo at Wycombe Air Park and the inaugural General Aviation exhibition at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this year. As a result we were pleased with the turn out at both shows and the high quality of enquiries we received.
At Aero Expo Red Box provided both ground power to the aircraft on static display with its’ new range of GA friendly RBPS continuous power supplies and also provided a Priceless 707 and 757 model tug for aircraft ground movements. The show organizers have asked that we provide the service again next year. We also had the Air Lift on display and must thank Heli Air for the loan of a Robinson R22 that towered above visitors to the stand. This was also the first time Red Box had the opportunity to display it’s new range of Bahco aviation hand tool kits. These proved to be a real crowd puller. The range can be seen at www.redboxint.com.

One of the exhibitors at Aero Expo was RB12 (Round Britain 2012). The organisers of this event, which will feature offshore power boats, supercars and aircraft simultaneously racing around Britain have asked Red Box to get involved from a ground support perspective. More news of this exciting development will follow in due course.

The new aviation exhibition at the Goodwood Festival of Speed has provided the UK General Aviation industry with a bespoke event that gives exhibitors the opportunity to meet high quality customers whilst also tapping into the vast crowds that attend the Festival of Speed. Red Box provided ground power to the static park and have pledged to work closely with the event organizers in the future. Mike Husband, Event Organiser said ‘We are pleased with the success this years event has brought to the exhibitors and now look forward to growing the show for next year whilst maintaining the bespoke feel to the show and a high level of exhibitor.’

Adrian Jackson, MD Red Box International said ‘This year has shown that UK GA will not give up in the face of difficult times. There’s a buoyant market out there and real demand for quality products and services. With the Goodwood Festival of Speed now hosting a General Aviation exhibition we feel there’s real opportunity to reach a new and wider audience in the future.’
