Red Box round off another successful year at EBACE with new distributor WM Electronics

May 20, 21 and 22 saw the return of the European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE2014) in Geneva, Switzerland, and this year Red Box attended the exhibition with our newest distributor, WM Electronics, who held a stand at the event. WM Electronics are responsible for the Swiss and Austrian Red Box territories, and showcased a range of products, including our Ground Power Units, Aviation Tools and Camera Inspection Systems.

Whilst at the show the Red Box RBSC100 continuous power unit was put to work powering the Airbus EC135 T2 on static display at the Airbus Group booth 6613.

The show saw some exciting revelations, including the unveiling of the 19-seat tri-jet Falcon 8X by Dassault, a version of the 7X including an extra fuel tank and an ultra-efficient redesigned wing to reduce overall drag, and the Bombardier 33.7m cockpit and cabin mock-up for its latest Global 7000 business jet, which includes a double bed, 20% larger galley, and 80% larger windows compared to the Global 5000 and 6000 jets.

The show, held at Palexpo, Geneva, as always gave a fantastic opportunity to catch up with key European customers and business partners, as well as reaching out to new customers to discuss their ground support and maintenance requirements. Being a relatively new distributor, WM Electronics have already seen great success with Red Box products. Through both companies’ dedication to building a strong working relationship, and the time invested to ensure WM Electronics have a full technical and mechanical understanding of Red Box products, the already strong partnership will continue to grow, with plans in place for 2015.
