Piper Malibu / Mirage Pa46

The Piper PA-46 Malibu was a line of single-engined, pressurized, light aircrafts. The first model was announced in 1982, and was intended to be a direct comptetior of the Cessna P210 Centurion. In the late 1980’s Piper commenced developing the PA-46-350P Malibu Mirage, which utilised a more powerful Lycoming TIO-540-AE2A engine, as well as a new wing, which was later altered based on the strenghtened wings of the successing Piper Meridian.
