Mcdonnell Douglas- Md 520N

The original Hughes Model 500 is a light, utility civilian and military helicopter. The Model 500 was later re-designated the MD 500 by McDonnell Douglas Helicopters, when they subsequently took over productions. The Hughes 500 was developed as a civilian version of the Hughes OH-6 Cayuse. In 1984, McDonnell Douglas acquired Hughes Helicopters, and soon started developing two new variants, the MD 520N and 530N, which made their maiden flight almost at the same time. Eventually, the firm established that the MD 520N’s sole production would be more cost-effective. The aircraft introduced a pioneer innovation in rotorcraft design, the NOTAR system.

Priceless Aviation is pleased to offer a great range of ground power and support equipment for this aircraft, including tugs, ground power units, start power units, aviation tools, and more, which are perfectly suited to the requirements of the McDonnell Douglas MD 520N aircraft.
