Mcdonnell Douglas- Explorer

The MD 902 Explorer is a light twin utility helicopter, originally designed and manufactured by McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Systems from the 1990s, with current productions under MD Helicopters. McDonnell Douglas commenced the development of their MD 900 in 1989, first in the line to feature the NOTAR system, and powered by Pratt & Whitney PW200 engines. The first prototype flown in 1992, with certification granted in 1994. McDonnell Douglas started further developint the aircraft, later creating variants such as the MD 902.
