The initial model Hawker 800 is a twin-engine, mid-size corporate business jet. The Hawker 800 was a further development of the Bae 125, designed by British Aerospace, with a number of siginificant modifications. These comprise of the redesigned cockpit windscreen, altered rear fuselage and the use of uprated Garrett TFE731-5R-1H powerplants. The Model 125-800 sold well in the aviation market, so inspired by the success further variants were created. The Hawker 850XP is the latest addition to the family, certified in 2006. The 850XP was installed with advanced avionics, and winglets to help improve the range with an additional 100 nmi. The interior of the Hawker 850XP was also re-designed for better passenger amenities.
