Eurocopter Sa318

The Aérospatiale Alouette II (company designations SA 313 or SA 318) is a light helicopter originally produced by Sud Aviation, later taken over by Aérospatiale. The Alouette II was designed based on a pre-existing project, the SE 3120 Alouette, which was a promising design, however deemed way too complex to become successful in the market. The Alouette II was installed with a Turbomeca Artouste turbine-engine, becoming the first rotorcraft powered by a gas turbine powerplant, as opposed to the more heavy piston engine, even achieving a new altitude record in the light helicopter category. The Alouette II became popular in military operations, these including observation and air-sea rescue, photography, liaison and training.

Priceless Aviation is pleased to offer a great range of ground power and support equipment for this aircraft, including tugs, ground power units, start power units, aviation tools, and more, which are perfectly suited to the requirements of the SA 318 aircraft.

This includes the popular RBI9400T mechanic hand trolley case complete with 161 BAHCO tools, the RBSC100 continuous power unit, which is ideal for diagnostic work, pre-flight checks or for continuous powering of equipment during operations, without draining the onboard aircraft batteries and the RB50A for starting the aircraft, helping to avoid hot starts. We also offer a combination of start and continuous power in one unit for the SA 318 aircrafts in our TC3000 range.
