Diamond Da40 Diamond Star

The Diamond DA40 Diamond Star is a single-engine, light aircraft developed as a four-seat version of the predecessing DA20 model, with productions commencing in 2000. The initial DA40 was powered by the Lycoming IO-360 M1A engine. The firm had made the executive decision to move all Lycoming-engined variants’ production to Canada, while the Austrian factory focused on manufacturing the diesel-engined variant. The Diamond DA40 features a fixed tricycle landing gear and a T-tail. The design of the aircraft resulted in the success of the model, as it has accumulated a very low accident record. It’s accident rate is only a fraction of other aircrafts’ statistics in general aviation, attributed to the DA40’s high aspect ratio wing, low wing loading and benign flight characteristics.

Priceless Aviation is pleased to offer a great range of ground power equipment for this aircraft, including tugs, ground power units, start power units, aviation tools, and more, which are perfectly suited to the requirements of the Diamond DA40 aircraft.
