Daher-Socata TBM-850

The Socata TBM 850 is an executive transport and civil utility aircraft, with a single turboprop engine. The concept of the original TBM 700 model was based on a former low-powered prototype, the Mooney 301. The French companies Mooney and Socata had begun co-developing a new design based on the Mooney 301, drafting a plan for an augmented turboprop aircraft, with great focus on speed, reliability and performance. The concept was perfected towards the end of the 1980’s, designated as the TBM 700. The higher-performance Socata TBM 850 (this is the production name for the TBM 700N), is an improved version of the aircraft. Utilising a Pratt & Whitney PT6A-66D engine, during cruise flight the power can be increased to 850 shp; providing the aircraft with a higher cruising speed, especially at high altitudes. The outside appearance of the TBM 850 has not been through any major changes from the standard TBM 700.

Priceless Aviation is pleased to offer a great range of ground power and support equipment for this aircraft, including tugs, ground power units, start power units, aviation tools, and more, which are perfectly suited to the requirements of the Socata TBM 850 aircraft.

This includes the popular RBI9400T mechanic hand trolley case complete with 161 BAHCO tools, the 709 tug, the RBSC100 continuous power unit, which is ideal for diagnostic work, pre-flight checks or for continuous powering of equipment during operations, without draining the onboard aircraft batteries and the RB50A for starting the aircraft, helping to avoid hot starts. We also offer a combination of start and continuous power in one unit for the Socata TBM 850 aircraft in our TC3000 range.
