The Bombardier Global 7500 and 8000 are ultra long-range corporate business jets developed by Bombardier Aviation (previously known as Bombardier Aerospace), with the Global 7500 introduced in 2018, and the Global 8000 yet to enter service. Both aircraft were derived from the predecessing 6000 Global Express business jet, encorporating the uprated General Electric Passport engines, mounted on the rear fuselage. These engines combined with a re-envisaged wing design had provided a more efficient performance. At present, the Global 8000 is reported to be retaining most features of the 7500, including the clean-sheet Nuage seats installed in an extended fuselage. It is predicted that the Global 8000 will be performing the longest range flights in the business jet cathegory, however this is yet to be determined once the aircraft enters service.
