The larger and more powerful Beechcraft Baron 58 was introduced in 1969, developed from the initial model of the line, the Baron 55. To accommodate for a better travelling experience club seating was included in the new design, as well as double aft baggage doors, and increased rear baggage space attained from the lengthening of the fuselage.
