Airbus Helicopter (Eurocopter) BK-117

The Eurocopter EC145 (now known as Airbus Helicopters H145) is a twin-engine, light utility helicopter developed and manufactured by Eurocopter, first introduced in 2002. The aircraft was developed based on the BK 117 C1, with some aspects derived from the predecessing EC135. The re-design of the EC145 went through some significant changes compared to previous models, in order to achieve greater range, increased payload and passenger capacity, and reduced noise and vibration. The EC145 was installed with a composite rotor blade, powered by upgraded Turboméca Arriel 2E engines.
